Part Unknown Strategy

At the start when learning this strategy it was sort of difficult to understand the question.  I always find fractions hard and confusing. It helped to draw the pictures.  Once you know how to solve it though, and you practiced it more and more, it became easier.

First you had to find out what one unit fraction was.  You did this by dividing the total amount by the denominator.  Then you times the answer of that question with the numerator to find out the amount or fraction you want.
